Sample Submission
Instructions for submitting samples to the ASET Recharge facility:
- If you are unsure of what services you may need, please reach out to ASET@alaska.edu for help in your selection!
- Submit an inquiry to ASET@alaska.edu.
- Please detail as much information as possible regarding the desired service and sample type. Note any special sample or analysis instructions to consider. This will help us complete the analysis in a timely manner.
- After completing the previous steps and receiving approval, please ship or drop off samples to:
- Results are emailed and all data is electronic. Our researchers are happy to answer any questions and help with basic result interpretation.
- Samples will be discarded after the analysis unless otherwise specified. Sample can be returned for archival if a pre-paid shipping label is provided.
Sample Submission Guidelines
Samples can be dropped off during regular business hours; please coordinate with staff (ASET@alaska.edu) to schedule this. We have a have a variety of storage options for samples (e.g. refrigeration, freezer, -80 freezer, etc.). Please discuss with our personnel the best format for your samples to be sent to us in.
Turnaround times are typically 1-2 weeks, depending on sample load, instrument availability and type of analysis. We will email you when the results are ready.
