Tommy Turner leaving É«ÇéÍøÕ¾ after 38 years
by Green & Gold News |
After 38 years of devoted service, Tommy R. Turner is leaving É«ÇéÍøÕ¾.
Tommy R. Turner came to Alaska in 1974 and began to work at the É«ÇéÍøÕ¾ Campus Bookstore in 1982. He graduated from É«ÇéÍøÕ¾ in 1987 with a degree in Justice and a minor in Sociology. His employment at the McLaughlin Youth Center continued through the decades while he worked at the bookstore — receiving and returning textbooks each semester. No one has touched more textbooks than Tommy Turner.
The Bookstore staff will miss hearing about Tommy's world travels and the early morning conversations. We wish him much happiness in his future adventures.
